Bhaiya ji, Ganga Das Baba, Sadhu/Sanyasi in Ramanandi Sampradaya, is highly regarded, respected, knowledgeable and a wonderful servant heart. He has faithfully served at the Hindu Buddha Mandir in Glen Arm Maryland.
During the seva there, he assisted the other members and priests with Shiva aarti, assisted with aarti in the Buddha Temple, as well as leading chanting kirtan.
Bhaiya ji Ganga Das is a longtime friend and spiritual brother. Writing this reference is an honor. The leadership, mentorship and deep friendship that he gives the community is a true blessing. The down to earth way he lives and explains the Sanatan Dharma path is wonderful. Through a life of service and many life experiences, he is a wonderful person, and would be an excellent leader and mentor for any spiritual retreat center, mandir, temple and other places of spiritual seva, meditation and mentoring.
I am writing in regards to a dear friend of mine, Ganga Das.
We friended on Facebook about a year and a half ago.
We quickly became friends.
After a while, as I live in Virginia and he was in Glen Arm Maryland, we met up in person. Since then I have been meeting with him two or three times a month at the Hindu Buddhist Mandir where he lived.
Ganga quickly became not only a friend but a spiritual adviser and confidant to me.
He has a special way of relating to others that make us feel like we can open up to him and find good counsel in our lives and on our Spiritual Path.
He has become a trusted friend and like a brother to me.
Ganga has a great depth of Spirituality and compassion, as well as great wisdom from his own wide and varied experiences in life.
If I were lost and stranded on an island and could only have one person there with me it would be Ganga Das. He is also quite resourceful, a solid rock and anchor to trust in, in times of storm. He is honest as the day is long.
A true friend in need and a true friend indeed.
He is a man of respect and honor.
Please give this man due consideration.
When seeking a personal experience with God, there is no greater benefit than finding a teacher who is as knowledgeable, relatable, and accessible as Ganga Das.
